Viva Desire (also called VVD) is a pleasure brand located in the US. Their team is led by women for women. VVD believes that exploring sensuality should be a lifestyle rather than just sex. Their values are Quality, Playfulness and Inclusivity.

Pleasure Toy Description & Podcast

The Rider Desire is designed for vulva havers to provide external and internal stimulation by riding or sitting on the toy directly. It can be used solo and in partnered play (eg. with the remote control). The Rider Desire is made with ABS plastic and silicone. All three Dildo attachments are made with silicone. The remote control is made with plastic. It is available in one colour: rose red. It weighs almost 2kg. It can hold up to 150kg. I measure it roughly 44cm x 24cm x 24cm. Dildo attachment 1 is 10cm long with 3cm girth. Dildo attachment 2 is 11cm long with 3.5cm girth. Dildo attachment 3 is 12cm long with 3.5cm girth.

Function

The Rider Desire provides external and internal stimulation that can be controlled independently. The external stimulation for the clitoris provides 13 different tapping functions. The Internal stimulation is via attachments – which there are 3 to choose from. Dildo attachment 1 is smaller rounder with more texture providing 6 different thrusting levels. Dildo attachment 2 is the next size up providing 13 different tapping functions. Dildo attachment 3 is the biggest of the attachments providing 7 different vibration functions. All of them have different intensities and patterns. The Dildos have a slight curve in shape to provide G-spot stimulation.

The Dildo attachments are connected via three small magnetic ports to secure its position.

The Rider Desire features can be controlled via the buttons on the ride on toy directly or via the supplied remote control. There are three buttons on the Rider Desire in the front. Press and hold the middle round button to turn on/off the Rider Desire. A white light will turn on indicating its standby mode. Single press of the top arrow button will turn on the external tapping feature and every other single press will change the setting of it. Single press of the lower arrow button will turn on the internal stimulation and further single press will change the settings.

Once the Rider Desire is in standby mode, you can also use the remote control for the internal and external stimulations. Single press of the top button will control the internal Dildo stimulation and single press of the lower button will control the external tapping feature. This works great for partnered play.

The Rider desire also has a heating feature: double click the upper button or use the remote control (double click the vibrating button). The white light will turn yellow indicating it is switched on. When the toy reaches roughly 42 degrees the heating function will stop. To manually stop the heating function double press the upper button again or use the remote control.

The Rider Desire is notable when both functions are on higher intensities. However, once inserted and pressed against it, it is less notable. I would rate it a 3/5.

Care & Cleaning

The Rider Desire is IPX5, splashproof only. It is recommended to clean the Rider Desire and its attachments with mild soapy warm water. I used one of my toy towels to dry. You could also use a compatible toy cleaner.

You can store the Rider Desire in its big box or place it somewhere dark, dry and cool (out of sunlight), such as the bedroom. The Dildo attachments, remote control and charging cable can be stored in the provided box.

The Rider Desire is rechargeable via the provided Type C USB charging cable. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge providing up to 1.5 hours of play time. The flashing light indicates charging and the solid light indicates fully charged. The Rider Desire also indicates when it is low battery by a rapid flashing light.

The remote control comes with a battery that might need to be replaced over time.

Water based lube is recommended with the Rider Desire, especially for the internal stimulation.

When Viva Desire reached out to ask if I’d like to review their Rider Desire, I was thrilled. I frequently get asked whether l’ve tried riding pleasure toys like the Sybian or Cowgirl, and while l’ve enjoyed reviewing vibrating pads in the past, the Rider Desire promised something a little different – sitting right between a sturdy ride-on toy and a pad.

What immediately stood out about the Rider Desire was its lightweight design and comfortable shape. After a long leg day at the gym, I found it incredibly relaxing to sit on. The ergonomic design made it easy to ride while relieving tension in my legs, making it perfect for those who love ride-on toys but tire out quickly.

Stability and Design Features

I found the ergonomic design very pleasurable and comfortable to sit on. The anti-slip lines underneath ensured that the toy stayed securely in place, even during intense play sessions. The plastic and silicone materials were smooth to the touch, and with a little lube, the experience became even more enjoyable. Clean-up was also a breeze, thanks to the easy-to-clean design.

One of my favourite features is the magnetic ports for the dildo attachments. These attachments snap securely into place, which made it super easy to switch between the different dildos during play. Viva Desire includes three dildo attachments with varying sizes, shapes, and features, offering a wide range of pleasurable experiences. I particularly enjoyed the tapping dildo – it gave the sensation of being fingered, delivering intense G-spot stimulation.

Customizable Pleasure Options

The dual stimulation feature was a dream.

The combination of internal G-spot stimulation with external clitoral tapping was divine, providing deep, hands-free pleasure.

The remote control added another layer of excitement, especially for partner play, as it allows someone else to take control.

For solo sessions, I found grinding on the external clitoral tapping feature alone to be just as satisfying. While using the internal dildo, the clitoral stimulation wasn’t perfectly aligned, but it was still close enough to feel incredibly pleasurable.

Room for improvement?

While I loved the Rider Desire, there are a couple of small areas where it could be improved. First, I would love to see it offered in different colours like black, which would make it more discreet and easier to leave out in the bedroom. It would also be nice if it came with a breathable storage bag for easy and discreet storage.

The heating feature is a great idea in theory, but in my experience, it didn’t quite hit the mark. It seemed to heat the bottom part of the toy rather than the part I was sitting on.

Personally, I don’t need the heating feature, so this wasn’t a big issue for me.

Overall, the Rider Desire is an exceptional hands-free riding pleasure toy that provides intense orgasms and a truly relaxing experience. Whether you’re into solo play or looking for a fun addition to partner play, the Rider Desire is worth considering.
